The most feared and skilful army in Greece was that from a town called Sparta. Raised and trained as killers from an early age Spartans were amongst the most noble of soldiers. If you lived in Sparta and you were a male your sole job and purpose in life was to protect Sparta form all enemies.

The Hollywood picture 300 (a remake of the original film 300 spartans) was a huge hit. In the movie King Leonidas led 300 of his soldiers to a certain death to protect Greece from the Persian army through the gates of Thermopylae.

Sorry but no wimps are allowed to wear Spartan costumes.
